First organized in 2017, Prairie Moraine Friends (PMF) was incorporated on November 25, 2019 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a nine-member initial board of directors. Officers were elected from the board members at the January 15, 2020 meeting.
To support the development, restoration, conservation, and operation of Prairie Moraine Park, a public park owned and operated by Dane County.
The PMF Board of Directors will hold regular business meetings in 2020.
The meetings will be held from 7 pm to 9 pm at Resurrection Lutheran Church
(6705 Wesner Road, Verona, Wisconsin) on Wednesday evenings in the months
shown below unless otherwise noted on the agenda.
The Annual Members’ Meeting will be held during the month of January.
Consideration will be given to holding the meeting on a Saturday as a way of encouraging member participation. The date for this meeting will be published in November.
The PMF Board of Directors may hold additional meetings,
if necessary, to carry out the responsibilities of the PMF Board
set forth in the Prairie Moraine Friends By-Laws.
