First organized in 2017, Prairie Moraine Friends (PMF) was incorporated on November 25, 2019 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a nine-member initial board of directors. Officers were elected from the board members at the January 15, 2020 meeting.
The PMF Board of Directors will hold regular business meetings in 2022. Due to safety considerations during the Covid-19 pandemic, the meetings will be held virtually using Zoom. The meetings are held from 5:30-7:00 pm on the third Wednesday of the month in the months shown below unless otherwise noted on the agenda.
Subject to Dane County Health Orders, the Board will transition as soon as possible to holding 2022 Directors' Meetings in person in a publicly accessible location, at the new hour of 6:30-8:00pm.
The Annual Members’ Meeting will normally be held during the month of January. Due to safety considerations during the Covid-19 pandemic, we have scheduled the 2022 meeting for April 23rd, so that it can be held outdoors in Prairie Moraine County Park. April 23rd is a Saturday and has been chosen in order to make it easier for more members to participate.
The PMF Board of Directors may hold additional meetings, if necessary, to carry out the responsibilities of the PMF Board set forth in the Prairie Moraine Friends By-Laws.
