Dane County Parks at Prairie Moraine

Invasive species management is a top priority. One method DCP uses to control invasive species such as Wild Parsnip is mowing.  Properly timed mowing helps prevent these invasives from going to seed and keeps their populations more manageable. Perennial prairie plants will grow back after being mowed and removing the invasive species creates a better environment for them to grow.

    A unique perspective!

Short video includes surrounding farmland, but the passes over the park itself are well worth the price of admission!
